The Video Game Festival takes place September 21 to September 23 in Montreuil.
The Video Game Festival has become the largest Video Game event in France and the second largest in Europe! This year it will be held September 21-23 at the Parc des Expositions Paris-Est in Montreuil.
For the comfort of the visitors, the conditions and capacity have been doubled. Over 9000 square meters, 120 exhibitors, 28 publishers, 16 studios, 8 manufacturers, nearly 200 playable games.
Here is the program:
- News of autumn 2007: discover and play with all new items on play stations and PCs at a preview.
- Spotlight on the dynamic energy and imagination of French designers: schools, studios, associations and talented newcomers will present their creations to the public and to professionals.
- The Prize of the Festival: the best French games rewarded by the Festival jury. This initiative is supported by the Ministry of Culture, The National Cinematography Center and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
- Kids Village: a world devoted to video games for children, offering all new Christmas releases, animations and education-through-play workshops.
- The Competition: the spectacular matches in the great international video game competition, World Cyber Games, will be held during the Festival.
- Discussions and conferences: designers and video-game professionals will discuss the major problems in that sector.
- The Retrogaming Museum: the opportunity to play on mythical machines and with the games that made the history of video games on play stations, PC and arcade.
- The meeting place for video game communities: players and associations will come and share their passion for games and meet professionals.
